The Riverside Hub project has entered an active phase with key milestones planned through to the anticipated building opening in early 2030. The timeline includes critical pre-development activities now underway, including completion of the Archaeological Study Stage 3 (April 2026), submission of the Formal Site Application (Spring 2026), and an ongoing fundraising campaign.
Approvals and Financing are targeted for Fall 2026, including Formal Site Approval, Lease Agreements with Hub Partners, and UIP Approval. Additional financing is anticipated between December 2026 and February 2027. The Costing Study Class B (incorporating construction drawings) will be completed post-February 2027, pending funding confirmation.
Construction Phase begins with Building Permits (March 2027), Tendering & Procurement (Spring 2027), Demolition (November 2027), and Construction start (November 2027-January 2028). Construction is projected to be completed by December 2029, at which point the new NPO “Riverside Hub” will assume governance and ownership.
